Refugee Hub

CatholicCare Refugee Hub closed on 13 December 2024.

We are very grateful to our staff, every one of our volunteers and donors who have supported us over the years and we assure you that we have made every effort to consider all options for the continuation of the Refugee Hub.

You may be aware, CatholicCare received no funding for this service and a recent government funding application was unsuccessful, meaning we have had to consider the sustainability of this service for the long term.

Some of our refugee support services may continue to be offered in other parts of our Diocese and further updates will be provided as available.

It is our priority to continue to support our current clients in the coming weeks to ensure all are connected with other suitable local support services.

We have been privileged to work with many refugees as they have settled into Australian life and engaged with the local community, and we thank you for your support.
